Poseidon
Poseidon is perhaps the angriest of the gods of Olympus. He rules the seas. When it hits its three-pronged Pitchfork, it creates earthquakes on Earth, tsunamis in the waters. And when he is angry, the Earth and the sky become entangled, and storms break out.
Thinking of this angry God’s name as an environmental project name is a pretty intelligent approach to drawing attention to climate change. The Poseidon Foundation wants to draw attention to climate change.
The Poseidon Foundation, which follows the carbon footprint, draws attention to the emissions of greenhouse gases (which we know are the carbon compounds CO2 and CO) that are released into the atmosphere. The Poseidon protocol is developing a blockchain-based project to reduce and control carbon emissions without delay.
Why is increasing carbon a threat to the Earth?
How is carbon in the world so effective in climate change and even in changing ecosystems? It is possible to explain this with two basic properties of carbon. The first can be explained by the characteristic of the sea as well as carbon or by the miraculous order that nature has developed to create equilibrium. The CO2 ratio in the atmosphere varies between 0.033 and 0.0000033. If the value is more than 0.033, CO2, a dense gas, collapses into the ground and gets this excess into its structure primarily through marine diffusion. The carbon dioxide that enters the sea reacts with the calcium that is molten in the sea and turns into CaCO3, which is calcium carbonate, and begins to accumulate in the form of layers of lime at the bottom of the sea. If too much of this limestone accumulates, subsidence occurs on the seafloor, which will bring the continents closer together. Following these collapses, a series of devastations (earthquakes, volcanism, sea progress) takes place.
How is the greenhouse effect of CO2 realized?
The second characteristic of CO2 is that it creates a greenhouse effect as the ratio of it in the atmosphere increases, which causes it to be the subject of the POSEIDON project. The reaction of each of the atmospheric gases to sunlight is different. O2, for example, holds short-wavelength rays from the sun, while CO2 allows them all to pass as they are, meaning it is transparent. But the Rays that reach the soil, the plant, any surface turn into heat rays here. CO2 absorbs these long-wavelength heat rays. So the sun comes, but it can’t go back. (H2O), the hydrogen dioxide also acts as a greenhouse effect by holding heat rays, but because where there is moisture, there will also be clouds, and the cloud reflects some of the sunlight into space, its effect decreases. Also, if there is no wind, H2O stays in the region where it occurs. Yet CO2 spreads rapidly, including the polar atmosphere. So here’s what I’m trying to explain.
As you know, some countries like the United States and China continue to release carbon compounds into the air without any sensitivity to polluting the atmosphere. “Let them drown in their poison!”This sentence is not correct. Because of the toxic gas that these countries create doesn’t just stay in their atmospheres. CO2 spreads all over the atmosphere and turns the sphere into a glass jar. Therefore, while humid climates can make distinctions like arid climates, we cannot make distinctions like carbonaceous environments, carbonless environments.
In the event of an increase in Earth’s atmosphere above 2 degrees Celsius, 100km of sea flooding is projected on our coasts. Some sea-level countries, such as the Netherlands, Germany, will be completely flooded. All the cities on the coast of our country, which is a peninsula, will be inundated by the sea. The unstable low pressures of tropical climates will create tropical storms and tornadoes, which means Poseidon will march upon us with all his fury.
Why is the POSEIDON Foundation so prestigious?
Today, no one can say that there is no global warming. No one can ignore the increasing air pollution. We see increasingly unstable weather conditions, increasing flood events. Epidemics, our ever-declining forests, and drought have reached severe Heights. Mass migrations are global phenomena that affect us all wherever we live.
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has documented that we have to keep the global temperature below 2C degrees. The findings were the starting point for the 2015 Paris Agreement. One hundred ninety-five countries have pledged to reduce the release of greenhouse gases. But even if this plan works, 19 gigatonnes of CO2 has to be eliminated from the atmosphere every year. Or to stop these 19 gigatons worth of CO2 being released, we shouldn’t be creating any rubbish this year. Such a solution is impossible. Or we won’t be driving anywhere in the world for a year. So much for the imagination. These are impossible choices. But we have to do something to reduce the carbon rate. So the POSEIDON protocol could be the world’s last chance.
How did the POSEIDON protocol come up with a solution?
They are shrinking the carbon footprint on our planet. That’s the solution. How? First of all, they are determined to collaborate with all the organizations working on this issue and producing solutions. They are already developing partnerships with other solution-oriented projects such as the Ecosphere.
Ecosphere+ has realized how effective the presence of Forests will play in reducing emissions. It is the partner that will provide carbon credits to the Poseidon project.
The distinctive features of the Poseidon project can be listed as follows.
1. Poseidon is a non-profit foundation Project. This identity increases the bargaining power of the Project in negotiations with companies and governments.
2. It has a well-prepared infrastructure that makes use of Blockchain technology.;
a- IT processes both the financial progress of the Project and the operation of the process in the form of instantaneous data, simultaneously delivering data to all parts of the world. The transparency generated by this means it provides a significant advantage, while at the same time making it impossible for the operation to be hacked. Chain technology, which is not managed from a single-center, does not allow data corruption.
b- In carbon release agreements, a carbon credit, allows you to produce 1 ton of CO2. However, Poseidon personal CO2 to measure oscillations gr. It needed a blockchain network that could be assessed in terms of. The Poseidon project will, therefore, run on the Stellar network.
Apart from being the only scalable platform,
c- Stellar blockchain consumes incredibly little electricity, according to bitcoin and ethereum. (All Iceland’s daily electricity consumption is needed to produce one bitcoin.) Stellar is arguably one of the most environmentalist networks at this point. The other feature that distinguishes the POSEIDON protocol significantly from other environmental projects is that it opens the door to all projects dedicated to reducing our carbon footprint, which by turning over 80% of the Project’s donations to the Poseidon Foundation will provide substantial cash flow to organizations and efforts trying to prevent climate change disaster.
Another unique aspect of the POSEIDON project is that it reduces the use of carbon credits to the individual. Initially, some carbon credits will be given to the consumer. But individuals, especially those who buy a lot of carbon-producing goods and services, will have to pay for it, and perhaps that will put pressure on governments to create awareness so that we can begin to reduce our carbon footprint.
SUMMARIZE:
In the introduction to my article, I mentioned the anger of Poseidon, the God of antiquity who gave the Project its name. There is a balance at the core of the life of the Earth and ecosystems. Every movement on the Earth is aimed at achieving balance. We, humans, are continually disrupting this enormous balance for our small aspirations, our modest ambitions, and our comfort. However, it should be remembered that the Earth always repairs the balance that is broken. In the meantime, usually, those who break the order disappear. Sixty-seven million years ago, during the Mesozoic Era — Jurassic, the dinosaurs that dominated the world were destroyed by transgressions formed by the onset of tropical climates. This transgression filled the melting glacial waters of the Baltic coast into the Black Sea trough, covering all of Europe. This time Poseidon targeted us. The temperature in the atmosphere is continuously rising. It’ll be too late if we don’t get the carbon emissions under control as soon as possible. We have to support the POSEIDON protocol. A profitable investment? No project can be as valuable as investing in the future of your children, your grandchildren, that is, humanity.
You’re not late to donate to project Poseidon. Please follow the link and donate it to our planet.
